Isis: Plea for West to help more than 1,000 kidnapped Yazidi women forced into 'sex trade'

The world has forgotten their plight after the rescue from Mount Sinjar
Yazidis in Iraq have made an emotional plea for the international community to help find more than 1,000 women and children kidnapped by Isis.

Those willing to convert to Islam are married off to militants but those maintaining their faith are trafficked as sex slaves, abused and imprisoned.
Thousands of people from the religious minority, who are considered heretics by the Sunni extremist group, were driven from their homes by the Isis advance in August.
The US started its intervention in the Iraq conflict as part of a humanitarian mission to rescue the families trapped without food and water on Mount Sinjar but not all were saved.
More than 1,000 Yazidi women had already been captured by Isis as Kurdish soldiers advanced on Mosul and hundreds more are believed to have been abducted as part of the group’s mission to eradicate other religions in its Sunni-dominated Islamic "caliphate".
Vian Dakheel, Iraq’s only Yazidi parliamentarian, is sheltering more than 30 displaced relatives at her home in Irbil.

Displaced people from the minority Yazidi sect, fleeing violence from forces loyal to the Isis in Sinjar town, walk towards the Syrian border, on the outskirts of Sinjar mountain, near the Syrian border town of Elierbeh of Al-Hasakah Governorate

Displaced people from the minority Yazidi sect, fleeing violence from forces loyal to the Isis in Sinjar She told the BBC she believes Western military intervention on the ground could help free the prisoners.
“Publicity would also help just like when Mrs Obama got involved in trying to rescue the schoolgirls captured by Boko Haram in Nigeria,” she added.
“We're a minority here and there's no strong lobby to support us. We ask for support from those governments that care about human rights and humanity.”
Witnesses said the abducted women were separated from their male relatives, who were often then murdered, divided into groups by age and sent away to Isis strongholds.

'I am a 14-year-old Yazidi girl given as a gift, to an Isis commander'
Captured Yazidi girl tells story of horrendous abuse by Isis
A 14-year-old Yazidi girl, known as Narin, told journalist Mahammed A Salih her 19-year-old brother was shot with other young men as she and other girls and women were taken to an empty school in Baaj, near the Syrian border.
An Isis fighter entered the room and recited the shahada for the women to repeat, saying it would convert them to Islam but they refused.
'Narin' was deeply scarred by her ordeal

'Narin' was deeply scarred by her ordeal “They were furious,” she said. “They told us we were pagans and confined us for 20 days inside the building, where we slept on the floor and ate only once per day.
“Every now and then, an Islamic State man would come in and tell us to convert, but each time we refused.
“As faithful Yazidis, we would not abandon our religion.”
After weeks of imprisonment, Narin and a childhood friend were given as “gifts” to senior Isis militants living in Fallujah and she was beaten and starved by her new captor known as Abu Ahmed – around 40 years her senior.
After more than a week with the men, the two girls managed to contact a friend in the city, who picked them up and helped them travel to safety with fake IDs.
They have since been reunited with their families but others have not been able to escape.
Another Yazidi girl, 17-year-old Mayat (not her real name) spoke to Italian paper La Repubblica from captivity earlier this month – Isis allowed the interview so her parents would know “in detail” what they were doing.
She had been kidnapped on 3 August during the Isis offensive on Sinjar and was being kept in an unknown city with around 40 women and girls aged from 12 to 30, she said.

Mayat described three “rooms of horror” where the women were raped, often by different men throughout the day and said many of her fellow prisoners had tried to kill themselves.
“They treat us like slaves. We are always ‘given’ to different men. Some arrive straight from Syria,” she said.
“Even if I survive, I don’t think I’ll be able to remove this horror from my mind.”

Mariam Al Mansouri: Female Pilot Disowned By Family For Bombing ISIS Terrorists In Syria

Mariam Al Mansouri: Female Pilot Disowned By Family For Bombing ISIS Terrorists In Syria

Major Mariam Al Mansouri became the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) first female pilot on the ISIS terrorist group terrorist group following the announcement that the United States would be leading a coalition of nations to use airstrikes against the Islamic State. While the world celebrates her success, the war has come home for Mansouri and reports are claiming the female fight pilot’s family has officially disowned her.
In a related report by The Inquisitr, the 35-year-old Major Mariam Al Mansouri was among three other women that were part of the attack on ISIS. She graduated in January of 2008 and she said that being a military almost entirely dominated by men was a dream she’s held for years.
“It was my aspiration. Ever since I finished high school, I wanted to learn flying because it was something that I liked in the first place. Being in the air force is a responsibility. I feel proud, especially that I am part of the first batch. And that encourages me to continue in this field. As a pilot, you have to study all the time, even after graduation. You have to continue training because the more hours you fly the more experience you accumulate.”
Mansouri led three other UAE F-16 pilots in the first airstrike and it’s said that when the “U.S. tanker pilots called in for air refueling and asked for the UAE mission and when they heard a female voice on the other side they paused for 20 seconds.” They then proceeded to drop bombs this week in coordinated attacks against Islamic State strongholds near Raqqa, Aleppo and Idlib.
Unfortunately, an Arabic language news site called Wattan.TV is reporting that Mariam Al Mansouri’s family has disowned her for these actions. Please keep in mind this is a Google translation and is extremely rough. The Inquisitr did attempt to clean up the translation, but it’s possible there were translation errors introduced in the process.
“The Mansouri family in the UAE announced Wednesday that they had Nbaraha [untranslated] of her daughter Mary because of her participation in the international coalition led by the United States to strike at civilian targets inside Syrian territory. The family also stressed their support for the Syrian revolution. The Mansouri family said in a statement published by news sites Arabic…. ‘We are the sons of the family of al-Mansuri in the United Arab Emirates announce to fill the innocence [translation error?] of the so-called Mariam Al Mansouri. We remind anyone who participates in international aggression on the Syrian people, led by the daughter of the rogue Mariam Al Mansouri, that the the Islamic State in the East and the West has a duty to defend issues of the nation. We exhort the jihad for the sake of Allah and the support of the Syrian Revolution. Blessed, in the face of the descendants of Ibn Alqami.'”
The Mansouri family also called for support for the Syrian revolution, calling for “all factions and battalions operating on the scene Shamiyah to unite and join forces and efforts to a single goal, which is to drop the Assad regime.” The family also appears to have announced support specifically for the ISIS terrorist organization, saying that their family is “honored heroes of the Sunnis in Iraq and the Levant.” The ISIS terrorist group is also known as ISIL, which stands for Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.

The News That Shocked India

THE NEWS THAT SHOCKED INDIA

Yes its a shocking news for the people in India as well as for the Muslim community in India. Recently reports claimed that few Indian Muslims joined terrorist group ISIS in IRAQ. It not only means that these Indian Muslims became terrorists, it does mean that maybe actively involved in killing Iraqis and others, raping captured females etc. As these news are actively spread over the internet about how the ISIS is behaving there and what are their activities over there. It can be seen all over the internet that how cruelly the ISIS is spreading their terror and expanding their area of operation. Although it is questionable that why did the Indian Muslims choose to join the terrorist organization ISIS.

A shocking report by Tehreek e Taliban disclose that more than 300 Indians are recruited by ISIS.

‘More than 300 Indians are recruited by ISIS, Tehreek-e-Taliban’

NEW DELHI: A delegation of six members from Anjuman-e Haideri (AEH), a Shia committee from Delhi, will go to Iraq to provide help and appeal to Indian Muslims, who have allegedly joined ISIS, to come back. Shia leader, Maulana Kalbe Jawwad Naqvi, in a news conference on Monday said that Zionists and their cohorts are reportedly engaged in training and financing the ISIS and other terrorist groups.

ISIS has attracted jihadists from across the world to join them like the Chechen jihadist above.

The members of the committee said that anyone who supports ISIS, Boko Haram, al-Qaida isn't a Muslim as no religion allows anyone to kill innocent people. They have also urged the Indian government to take ISIS seriously as it has threatened to attack Kashmir.

Members of AEH claim to have recently received a letter from Khairullah, deputy minister of foreign affairs, government of Republic of Iraq, thanking the committee and Indian government for volunteering to protect holy shrines in Iraq.

Advocate Mehmood Pracha recently met the families of boys, who have reportedly joined ISIS, in Mumbai.

"The families of these youths do not believe in the ideology of the ISIS and they have appealed to the government to bring their boys back."

When asked about Unnao MP Sakshi Maharaj's remark on madrassas churning out terrorists, Naqvi said that the government should probe the claim and "If there is no truth, then the BJP leader should apologize."

Tamil Nadu youth joins ISIS, family recalls his journey into insurgency

CUDDALORE: In March this year, Usman Ali of Paranagipettai near Cuddalore, a picturesque coastal village north of Tamil Nadu, was shaken out of his stupor. It was a call on his wife Rokhyaa's mobile. Their son Haja Fakkurudeen (37) had phoned to say he was well and his dream had come true. He was now living in Syria with wife Ayesha Siddika and their three children, and fighting alongside ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria)
That was the last a shattered Usman and his wife heard from Fakkurudeen, who is believed to be among 80-odd Muslim youths from India who have joined the war against the Syrian and Iraqi regimes. "My wife, son-in-law and I tried hard to prevent him from going to Syria. But his mind had been made up. He used to contribute a good part of his salary for ISIS. He said it was his dream to live in an Islamic country," said Usman, who depended on his son's income to run the house. READ MORE

The investigators, meanwhile, have expanded their probe and identified 15 more men from Mumbra and Bhiwandi who may have joined the four from Kalyan in Baghdad and enlisted with the Sunni insurgent group Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
Dorale and the four reported missing from Kalyan — Arif Fayyaz Majeed, Fahad Tanvir Sheikh, Aman Naim Tandel and Saheen Farooqi Tanki — are all residents of Bazar Peth and spent considerable time together. READ MORE

2 Thane boys among 18 Indians who joined ISIS

NEW DELHI: As investigations into Thursday's Pune blast progress, agencies are worried about two youths from Thane (near Mumbai) who are reported to have left for Iraq to fight along ISIS about a year ago. These two boys are part of the 18 Indians learnt to be fighting in Iraq and Syria and are being tracked by intelligence agencies.

Sources within the security establishment say most of these 18 hail from south India. Some of those who have been identified belong to Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. It is not known whether any of them has returned but such exodus from south India has become a cause for worry for the agencies.

ISIS chief Abubakr Al-Baghdadi, who recently declared himself as the Caliph of Islamic State (as the group is now known to be in pursuit of establishing a Caliphate in West Asia), has asked Indian Muslims to wage war against the nation in an audio message. READ MORE

Young Indians joining ISIS call for jihad in West Asia

For this business family of four in Srinagar’s upscale Jawahar Nagar, life was smooth. For them, their eldest son, 26-year-old Adil Fayaz, was an achiever — an MBA from Australia’s Queensland University ostensibly working with an NGO in Turkey.
But the story, according to Indian security agencies, is very different. Senior home ministry officials say Adil was radicalised by Islamic fundamentalists in Australia. He then, they say, left for Turkey and entered Syria via Jordan to join jihadists in the civil war in June 2013. Although his family claims Adil is working for an NGO in Turkey to help Syrian refugees, they don’t have the name of the NGO or its phone number. Their son talks to them on voice over internet protocol (VoIP).
Adil is perhaps the first Indian from Kashmir to join the Syrian jihad against the Bashar al-Assad regime.
The police in the Valley said they don’t have any such information. “We don’t have any information about any Kashmiri boy having joined the fight in Syria,” said AG Mir, IG Police, Kashmir.
But Omar Abdullah, J&K chief minister, told HT, “No one from Kashmir has gone to fight in Syria. However, there is reportedly one boy who had gone to Australia and has been recruited from there.”
Adil is not the only one reportedly attracted to the jihadist movement in Syria and Iraq. Indian security agencies have identified no less than 10 Muslim youngsters who’ve left lucrative jobs to fight to establish a pan-Islamic caliphate. Apart from four youngsters from Kalyan, near Mumbai, who are believed to be fighting alongside Islamic State of Syria and Levant (ISIS) terrorists, a Kerala youth studying in Dubai and a Hyderabad student from Texas have joined Islamist fighters in Syria.  READ MORE

More Indians have joined ISIS in Iraq: Report

Mumbai: Amidst reports that four Indians are believed to have joined the ISIS, the Maharashtra police now suspect that more young men may have `enrolled` in the Sunni militant group in Iraq.
According to a news channel, around 15 men are missing from Bhiwandi and Mumbra in the Thane district near Mumbai.
These are the same areas from where Aarif Majid, Aman Tandel, Saleem Tanki and Fahad Shaikh have been missing since May, when they allegedly went on a pilgrimage to the holy city of Karbala in Iraq.
All of them left in the last week of May, claiming they were going for a pilgrimage to the holy city of Karbala. READ MORE

In less than 24 hours, teams of Army engineers have re-built two bridges in Poonch and Jammu districts of flood-hit Jammu and Kashmir.

The Dorungli Bridge, a part of which was washed away on September 6 in flash flood, was made operational by September 10. This bridge is the only link between Poonch and Rajouri.

'The Indian Army's Engineers Unit swung into action and started the re-construction work on September 10 morning and made the bridge operational by afternoon,' a senior Army officer said.

One Task Force of Army Engineers and troops from Poonch Brigade, along with the Border Roads personnel, made the bridge operational in the shortest possible time.

Since the breakdown of the other bridge over Poonch River, the Sher-e-Kashmir bridge, the people of Poonch were completely cut off from the rest of Jammu region.

In another such example, Army engineers installed a 150-metre Baily bridge on Tawi river in Jammu, to ensure connectivity with 47 villages which were cut off by the floods.

The bridge was completed in just a day and people stuck in Tawi Island villages were very happy and thanked Army for the speedy installation of the bridge.

Army soldiers prepare a temporary bridge over Tawi river after a bridge collapsed in flood at Mandal village in Jammu.

Army soldiers build a temporary bridge across the river Tawi, near the existing bridge which was swept away by floodwaters from the river Tawi, on the outskirts of Jammu.
